Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Muttiah Muralitharan, Sanath Jayasuriya and many more are all in one team in the upcoming Legends League Cricket

Cricket fans are soon going to return to sentimentality when veteran cricket stars like Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Shahid Afridi, Chaminda Vaas and Shoaib Akhtar will take the field in the impending Legends League Cricket.

The astonishing competition will be played in January 2022 at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman. The initial season will have former legendary cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, and other cricketing countries partitioned into three Teams addressing India,  Asia Lions and the Rest of the World called as World XI.

Eminently, previous Indian mentor Ravi Shastri had joined the association last month as the Commissioner following his term with the Indian Cricket Team.

The group from Asia will be called Asia Lions, including former cricket stars like Shoaib Akhtar, Sanath Jayasuriya, Shahid Afridi, Upul Tharanga, Tillakaratne Dilshan and former Afghanistan captain and player 'Asghar Afghan' and many more former legends.

Asia Lions' squad includes 6 former legendary players from Sri Lanka, 9 former legendary players from Pakistan and 1 former legendary player from Afghanistan. This team will be playing against India and World XI in the upcoming Legends League Cricket which will be played in January 2022 at Al Amerat Cricket Ground, Oman before the start of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League.
