He was all set to play for Quetta Gladiators under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed and was one of the main bowlers in their pace attack but he is not a part of the league now, owing to some personal issues, said his manager 'Kautsav Lahiri', although PSL is a fantastic competition according to him and Naveen Ul Haq will be looking forward to take a part in Pakistan Super League in the coming seasons.
A mini replacement draft will take place on 7th of January where the teams will replace the players who are not taking part now. Quetta Gladiators will be picking the most players as 2 of their platinum category players; "James Vince" and "Jason Roy" will not be available to them in the initial matches. Naveen Ul Haq was also supposed to play for them.
Naveen has played 7 ODIs and thirteen T20I matches for the Afghanistan side in which he has been able to get 14 wickets in One Day Internationals and 18 wickets in T20 internationals.
Rumors are also circulating that another Afghani player, who will be opening for Peshawar Zalmi in this season and is from platinum category is looking to pull out from PSL but these are only rumors and let's see what happens in reality. We hope that no other player pulls out from the 7th edition of Pakistan Super League.
It would be important for us to inform you that the much-anticipated following year's PSL will get in progress from January 27 in National Stadium, Karachi with the opening match being played between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans.
Final will be played on 27th of February at Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore
