Pakistan squad for T20i world cup reaches Dubai



 The Pakistani new squad for T20 World Cup, driven by captain Babar Azam arrived at Dubai on Friday for the eagerly awaited cricket world cup. The crew took off from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore for UAE in a chartered flight earlier today

Coming Week's planning

The green shirts will have to remain in isolation for a day in UAE until they test negative for covid-19 (coronavirus) . Once the squad tests negative, they will start training. 

Pakistan is planned to play 2 warm-up matches against West Indies and South Africa on 18th and 20th of October, separately.

Pakistani players with families

Some squad members have carried their relatives alongside them after the ICC had allowed it — and they will likewise be tested for COVID-19. 

The Pakistani squad, alongside their relatives and their care staff were taken to the airport during high security.

Pakistan's fixtures at T20i World Cup


A large number of fans will be anxious to observe Pakistan start their progress for the world cup with a super charged conflict against traditional rival India on 24th of October at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. 

The two neighbor countries will meet interestingly since their 2019, 50-over World Cup match at Old Trafford, Manchester, and this will be the 6th time they will contend in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

 Pakistan will play against New Zealand at the noteworthy Sharjah Cricket Stadium two days after the match against India, , prior to coming back to Dubai to play against Afghanistan, on October 29th. 

In their last two matches of the Super 12 phase, which will highlight the main eight T20 groups and four groups who secure capability from Round 1, Pakistan, who have played the most matches (36) in the UAE for a worldwide side and have won 21 of them, will play against the victors of Group A and victors of Group B on November 2 and 7, at Sheik Zayed Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium, separately.
